“Occasionally Uncle Serge will do something completely out of character (see L’Eau) something that doesn’t entirely fit with his aesthetic of hedonistic orientals and vicious florals. Nuit de Cellophane is one such exception and is Lutens’ take on the soft, shampoo-esque floral. The result is creamy and milky osmanthus buds wrapped in cling film. Not an entirely new style of scent but well executed”
